One of my 2009 resolutions is to participate in every IF (Illustration Friday) for the whole year. I am also going to try to use the Torrey Girl in all of them, we'll see if she wants to participate each week. Here she faces "Winter" head-on, resolved to stand up for herself and face the coming changes. So here you go! One down 51 more to go. =) Enjoy and Happy New Year!

lol I almost did it for two years without failing, but last year I almost never participate.
I think I'm going to keep the same resolution you have; although, your illo is way more beautiful than mine ;)

Love the mostly light hues it really makes your characters red hair stand out. Very wonderful illustration.
This is my FAVORITE TorreyGirl so far. After all, I'm a winter baby so snowflakes are a love of mine as well as the most fabulous and wonderful crayola color OF ALL TIME..Periwinkle. Oh yes...MY FAVORITE!!
